One contract is worth
a year of consumer calls.
Security is not a volume business, and treating it like one is the most common mistake we see. The buyer is a property manager, an event producer or a corporate client, and a single standing contract can be worth more than every residential enquiry you will field in a year.
That changes everything about the funnel. Cost per lead is close to meaningless when the leads are not comparable. What matters is whether the enquiries arriving are the kind that turn into contracts, and whether your site survives the due diligence that follows — licence numbers, insurance, uniformed team, fleet, and evidence you have handled work at that level.
Licensing is also a ranking and trust asset that most security companies bury in a footer. In Florida the agency licence class is a real differentiator to an informed buyer, and it belongs above the fold, not in the small print.
So the work is fewer, better enquiries: pages built for the corporate and event buyer rather than the homeowner, and campaigns that filter hard instead of chasing cheap clicks.
This page is about the trade. If you work in South Florida, the county version has the local numbers, the cities we shut off and what the competition actually looks like here: security company marketing in Broward County.
Full disclosure: these numbers come from LuxeWash, a mobile detailing company in Broward that Digital Anchor owns and runs. It is our testing ground, which is why we can publish the account data, including the cities that did not work.
